Hello High School Youth!

This Sunday is our first Sunday School High School class and here is your official notice to come on over at 9:30am to reconnect with some old friends and get to know some new ones. Nancy Harwood and I (Marion) will be leading the class again and are excited about what's ahead.

During the first class, we're going to be showing some photos of our time in New Orleans, so if you'd like to share some of yours, bring no more than 30 on a CD or media stick to the class.

We have tentatively designated October 3 as a Youth Service Sunday. This means that the teens of Our Savior will be taking a major role in the service, such as ushering, reading, playing instruments, presenting something (maybe a skit, perhaps a mini boomwhacker concert...?), etc... After the service, there will be a fellowship time for the congregation with authentic New Orleans food (think gumbo and beignets, pronounced Ben-yays), as well as a photo power point and question/answer time with the NYG 2010 kids.

Reminder for those of you who were "going to" type your NYG essay question for Pastor: get 'er done and send it in! You know who you are.

Also, we are going to watch (part of) a movie, To Save a Life, which will be followed up in weeks to come with a Bible Study.

Questions? Call me: 878-2820 or email

See you there!
